Returns & Exchanges

How do I return an item?

There are two ways to request a return: 

  • Using this dedicated page 
  • Visit the "Order Details" section of your MY GUCCI account and select "Return this item". This option will be available as soon as the item has been delivered and will remain available for 30 days.

Before starting, pack your item in its original packaging, together with any accessories (tote or shopping bag included), booklets, labels and the return tag. Your return item should be in its original condition, with any tags or labels still attached. Once your request has been successfully submitted, you can choose from one of two methods for your return: by courier or in-store.

Return by Courier

Without a shipping label

  1. Start by visiting MyDHL+ at the following link https://mydhl.express.dhl or using the DHL Express Mobile App and choose the country you are making the return from. Search for your nearest DHL Service Point.
  2. You can then take your item(s) to the DHL Service Point during opening hours. Some require you to print your return label, while others support paperless drop-off with your QR code. Find your preferred DHL Service Point by looking for the dedicated icon.

Please note: 

  • The QR code will be emailed to you. If you are registered with MY GUCCI, you can also download them from your "My Orders" section. Together with the QR code, you'll also receive the shipping label. You don't need to print it out, but it may be useful as it shows the courier's tracking number.
  • You can use it to track your returns by visiting MyDHL+ at the following link: https://mydhl.express.dhl or using the DHL Express Mobile App.

Gucci cannot be held liable if you use a courier service other than the one listed above.

With a shipping label

  1. Print your prepaid shipping label. This will be sent to you by email and is also available to download from your MY GUCCI account.
  2. Remove the original shipping label and attach the new label.
  3. Start by visiting MyDHL+ at the following link https://mydhl.express.dhl or using the DHL Express Mobile App and choose the country you are making the return from. Search for your nearest DHL Service Point.

How many days do I have to exchange or return an item?

Returned merchandise must meet the below requirements in order to be accepted for a refund:

  • All items (including Gucci Beauty) must be in original condition with original tags attached. Merchandise that has been worn, used, altered or damaged will not be accepted. For lingerie products, the underwear protection, when provided, must also be intact.
  • Returns on items with a return tag attached will only be honored if the label has not been removed. 
  • Made to Order or personalized items are final sale and cannot be returned. 
  • Please note that intimates, including swimwear, tights, socks and lingerie can only be returned in new condition. Items should be unworn, in their original packaging and with all labels attached. 
  • Décor items, such as chairs or items with non-standard dimensions, may require special return instructions. If you would like to return one of these items, please Contact Us
  • Items purchased at a Gucci store, Gucci outlet store or other retailer or distributor cannot be returned to Gucci.com. These items can be returned using the same channel of the original purchase.

How do I exchange an item?
To exchange an item by carrier:
  1. To exchange your item for a different size of the same item, follow the link in your order confirmation email or sign in and go to 'My Orders'. For other types of exchange, please contact us.
  2. Once the exchange has been approved, your prepaid shipping label will be emailed to you.
  3. Pack your item in its orginal packaging—including  the cotton tote bag, any included accessories, instruction booklet, labels, return tag. Please note, your item must be in new condition and with its protective covering still intact (where applicable). 
  4. Print then attach the prepaid shipping label to the package and arrange pickup by contacting the carrier directly at the number located on the return request email or in the return thank you page that appears when you complete your return process online. You can also arrange your pickup by visiting “MyDHL+” at the following link https://mydhl.express.dhl or using the “DHL Express Mobile App.” First, select the country in which your order will be picked up from, and then select the “Schedule a Pickup” tab using the waybill number you find on the return label.
  5. All returns shipped using the prepaid shipping label are complimentary. Please note, Gucci is not liable for merchandise returned through an alternative carrier service, we recommend using the prepaid label. If for any reason you don’t receive your prepaid shipping label or you can’t locate it, please contact us at this link.
  6. The carrier tracking number can be found on your prepaid shipping label. You can use this to track your returns useing “MyDHL+” at this link https://mydhl.express.dhl or using the “DHL Express Mobile App.”
  7. Once received in the warehouse, items sent for exchange will be processed within 14 business days and credited back to the original form of payment. Please note, if your item does not meet the terms of our returns policy, it will be returned to you and the reimbursement will not be made.
  8. You will receive an email confirmation when your return has been completed. Please note any shipping charges incurred at the time of purchase are non-refundable. 
Please note, online exchange is only possible if you would like to change the size of your item. Contact us for assistance with other types of exchange.
For Paypal orders, exchanges may be processed only for the same or lower value. If you are exchanging for an item of lower cost, you will receive a partial refund directly through your Paypal account.
 
Exchanges for items with a lower value purchased through Wire Transfer will receive a refund for the cost difference. Exchanges for items of a higher value are not permitted.

Where can I return or exchange a Collect In-Store item?
You can return or exchange your purchase within 30 days of collecting your item in-store or by contacting Client Services if you would like us to pick it up from an address of your choice.
How long does it take for a refund to be issued?

Merchandise returned by mail to the warehouse will be processed within 14 days from receipt. You will receive an email confirmation when your return has been completed. Refunds will be credited back to the original form of payment. Additional fees for Saturday delivery are non-refundable.

Does Gucci go on sale?

Gucci does not have sales, including black Friday sales and private sales. If you see Gucci items, not from an official Gucci retailer, being sold at discounted, sale or clearance prices, then chances are the item is counterfeit.

Gucci products are crafted with the highest quality materials, design and workmanship. Most Gucci products are made in Italy. Exceptions include watches, which are mainly manufactured in Switzerland, fragrances which are produced in France and the UK, cosmetics that come from the EU and some eyewear produced in Japan.

Made to Order items are custom-made only after an order has been requested. Once an order has been placed, Gucci Client Services will contact you to confirm your order details and payment. Your item will then be crafted exclusively for you.
 
Made to Order items include furniture from the Décor collection, including chairs, stools and paneled screens.
 
Please note that once a Made to Order item has successfully been submitted, it cannot be cancelled, modified or returned for a refund. These items are final sale. 
 
Can I personalise my items?
Gucci offers the following complimentary personalization services on handbags, small leather goods, belts, jewelry, and luggage items.

Is Klarna safe?

If you return some or all of your order, Klarna will issue you with a new statement as soon as the online store processes your return. Follow Gucci’s return instructions  and make sure to keep the tracking number of your return, you can find this in your confirmation email or by logging into your MY GUCCI account. Log into your Klarna account and select “Report a return” so that your statement is paused. As soon as your return has been registered, Klarna will send an adjusted invoice.


There’s something wrong with my order. Do I still need to pay for it?

You do not need to pay for goods that are received damage, broken or faulty.

Instructions found here  and make sure to “Report a problem” in your Klarna account to pause your statement until you’ve resolved the dispute. As soon as your cancellation or your return has been registered, the refund will be processed within 5-7 business days.



I have not received my order. What happens to my statement?

You do not need to pay the statement until you have received your order. You can track your order using the link you received by email or by logging into your MY GUCCI account. To pause your Klarna statement, log into your Klarna account and ‘Report a problem.’


My statement is incorrect. What should I do?

If your statement does not match your order details, please contact us   for a correction of your statement. To pause your Klarna statement, log into your Klarna account and ‘Report a problem.’

When will I be charged for my purchase?

For most items (excluding Made to Order and personalized items), you will not be charged until your order is shipped. Once the order is placed, we will authorize payment for the full amount and prepare your order for shipping. The full amount will be charged once your order is shipped.

Made to Order items and personalized items require full payment at the time the order is placed. Once the order is received on Gucci.com, Gucci Client Services will contact you to confirm the order and process the payment.

 

Is VAT included in the final price and how do I claim VAT back?
All prices include VAT. At this time we are unable to provide tax refunds for purchases made on Gucci.com, including orders placed by iPad at our Gucci stores.
Do you accept gift cards?

At this time, we do not accept Gucci gift cards on Gucci.com. 

 
Can I cancel or modify my order?

If you need to cancel or modify your order, please Contact Us as soon as possible. We will make every effort to accommodate your request, but cannot guarantee your order may be adjusted once it’s been submitted. Processed orders may not be cancelled or modified; you may return your item subject to Gucci’s Online Return Policy.

 

Once a Made to Order or personalized order has been placed, it cannot be canceled or modified. These items are considered final sale and cannot be returned.

All orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding Italian holidays (January 1 and 6, Easter Monday, April 25, May 1, June 2, August 15, November 1,  December 8, 25 and 26 ). 
Deliveries are made Monday through Friday from 9am-6pm. Saturday delivery is available for select postcodes at an additional charge. An adult signature will be required upon delivery.
 
Pre-order, Made to Order and DIY items will ship on the estimated date noted on the product description page. These items will ship through Express once they become available.
 

 

How can I track my order status?

Once your item(s) have been shipped you will receive a confirmation email which will include a link to track your order through the carrier. 

Is a signature required upon delivery of my order?

For security reasons, an adult signature is required upon delivery. If you will be unavailable to sign for your package, please Contact Us.

 
Can I ship to a P.O. Box?

Orders may not be shipped to P.O. boxes.

Can I modify my shipping address?
If you need to modify your shipping or delivery information after your order has been placed, please Contact Us as soon as possible. Shipping information, including delivery address, cannot be modified once the order has already been shipped.
 
Please note, shipping and delivery information for orders purchased through PayPal may not be modified once the order has been submitted.
 
 
Can I ship to multiple addresses?

At this time we can only ship to one address per order. To ship to multiple addresses, please place a separate order for each location.

How do I use the Collect In-Store service?
At checkout you will be able to select Collect In-Store when choosing your shipping options. The new complementary delivery method is available at London Bond store by following three easy steps.
 
  • Add your item to your shopping bag
  • Choose Collect In-Store as your delivery method at checkout
  • Select the store of your choice
 
Once your order has arrived, we will notify you when it is ready to be collected. You will have 14 days to pass by the boutique to pick-up your item – an appointment is not required, just inform a Client Advisor once you arrive and they will guide you through the process. If it is not collected within this period, your order will be cancelled and a refund will be issued.

All Gucci.com orders come with complimentary gift wrap which includes a signature Gucci box tied with a Gucci satin ribbon or shopping bag. Gucci gift boxes are only available for products 45 cm x 45 cm x 20 cm and smaller. You also have the option of including a personalized gift message and excluding the price from the order invoice.

What is the short explanation of NFTs?

NFT stands for non-fungible token. Each token represents rights to a unique digital asset or collectible such as an avatar, wearable, skin or piece of digital art. You need a digital wallet and cryptocurrency or a digital currency in order to purchase one. Your cryptocurrency is managed by a special technology which is referred to as a blockchain—refer to question 5 in order to find out how to obtain your own NFT.

What is an NFT?

An NFT is a non-fungible token, the ownership of which is recorded on a blockchain and which is purchased using a digital wallet. You can think of the blockchain as a digital ledger of transactions that exists online, which ensures that each NFT has only one owner at any given time and keeps a record of the history of a token’s ownership. A smart contract is computer code that is associated with an NFT and runs on the blockchain. It is self-executing code which is used to create or “mint” the NFT and which controls the function and transfer of the NFT, and information regarding the terms of sale and resale of the NFT between the buyers and sellers, including any resale royalty. Each NFT is like an original piece of art or a specific instance of a signed series of numbered prints. While you can take a picture or buy a replica of a piece of art, each token has a unique ID and represents a specific instance of the digital work. This uniqueness creates provable scarcity which creates value for the NFT. Essentially, an NFT is associated with a digital asset and is purchased using a digital currency. These digital assets are most commonly unique items such as digital collectibles like avatars, wearables, skins or digital art, However, NFTs may also provide access to a community or project benefits.

What can I do with an NFT?

Once you have your NFT, you are 100% the owner of the token. Therefore, you can keep it, give it or trade it with others, just like a physical collectible. However, often there is only a limited license to the digital asset associated with the NFT and the creator(s) retain the intellectual property (including copyrights and trademarks) associated with the digital asset. The license specifies what you can and cannot do with the digital asset and the associated intellectual property. Often, the license provides the right to display the digital asset for personal, non-commercial use or to transfer the NFT to a third party on a secondary market. But the license terms can vary. It is important to read the license to understand what you can and cannot legally do with the digital asset and associated intellectual property.

What is a digital wallet and how do I get one?

A digital wallet is typically a piece of software that is used to transact with cryptocurrency and tokens. You don't actually store cryptocurrency or NFTs in your wallet. Each wallet has a unique wallet ID (referred to as a public key). Each NFT has a unique token ID. The blockchain records ownership of an NFT by associating its unique token ID with a unique wallet ID and storing that record on the blockchain. To buy or sell an NFT, the wallet owner must enter a private key (which is like a password) to authorize the transaction via the wallet. The public and private keys are cryptographically generated. With most digital wallets, you hold the keys and are in charge of your own assets. Your assets are only as safe as your private key, so it is advisable to back it up and not share it with anyone. Never give your Secret Recovery Phrase or your private key(s) to anyone or any site, unless you want them to have full control over your assets. To make the process of setting up a wallet user-friendly, there are many software wallets, such as Metamask, which equip you with a wallet address, key vault, secure login, and backup options to manage your digital assets securely. Metamask runs as a browser extension and/or mobile app, and you can be up and running in just a couple minutes. Learn more at Metamask .

How do I set up a Metamask wallet?

Open Google Chrome, Firefox or Brave on your computer and install the Metamask browser extension. Alternatively, download and install the Metamask App for iPhone or Android .
Open the app and choose “Create Wallet”. Create a username and password. Important: Make sure you safely record your Secret Recovery Phrase and store it somewhere secret and safe, as this is the only way to recover your wallet if you lose your device, or ever need to install it on another computer.

Why do I have to manage my own wallet?

We want to be sure that you can be the real owner of your NFTs, in the same way that you are the owner of physical Gucci items. This is why we want you to have your own wallet and feel comfortable controlling your own NFTs.

Can you tell me more about cryptocurrency?

Cryptocurrency is a digital currency or, more technically, a store of value that uses blockchain security to record and secure online transactions. Cryptocurrency can be used to buy goods and services. Most commonly, cryptocurrency is used to buy unique digital items such as digital collectibles like avatars, wearables, skins, or art, but more and more business are beginning to accept cryptocurrency as a form of payment. Cryptocurrency can be purchased with fiat currency (e.g., dollars) on various platforms. You should exercise caution and research in determining which kind of cryptocurrency to purchase because not all projects comply with various regulations. Ethereum (ETH) is a cryptocurrency that is accepted on the Gucci Vault.

How do I purchase ETH (Ethereum)?

You can purchase ETH through an online exchange such as Kraken, Coinbase or directly through Metamask. Once you have completed your purchase, you will be able to access your funds through Metamask or another compatible digital wallet to purchase an NFT. Please keep in mind that there are limits on how much you can buy and sell based on your account and the platform you are using.

Which are the most used blockchains and what is gas?

Ethereum is the most frequently used blockchain. It requires “gas” to use—you can think of this as being similar to a processing fee for each transaction. You must have enough ETH in your wallet for the cost of your purchase and the gas. The gas fee enables your transaction to be processed on this network and to be stored on the blockchain. The gas fee per transaction can fluctuate based on network supply and demand. You can set a gas limit as the maximum amount of gas you are willing to use on any given transaction. If the actual amount of gas needed turns out to be lower than the limit you specified, the remaining gas will be returned to you. But if your limit is too low, either your transaction will not be processed or the transaction will fail and you may lose that gas. When making your purchase, your wallet can facilitate the calculation of the estimated gas price to make the transaction. See here for more information on how Metamask estimates gas fees.

What is an NFT marketplace?

Following the end of the primary sales, your NFTs are automatically visible and tradeable on OpenSea – the leading open NFT marketplace - and potentially on other platforms. NFT marketplaces enable creators and collectors to buy, sell and create. After connecting your wallet, you can purchase, auction or sell a wide range of NFTs.

Yes, the opportunity to request a handcrafted ceramic statue is included with each NFT. For the first drop, anyone who had the Janky NFT in their wallet on June 17, 2022, were able to decide if they would like to claim a statue, or not. The physical element will continue to be optional for the second NFT drop.

What is the price of each SUPERGUCCI NFT?

On February 1, 2022, the first NFT drop featuring Janky was minted at 1.5 ETH. It can currently be purchased on secondary marketplaces such as OpenSea where prices vary. The second drop, featuring Guggimon, is airdropped for free to anyone who had an NFT from the first SUPERGUCCI drop.
