Gerald Stratford aka “the Veg King” is the protagonist of new images created in collaboration with Highsnobiety to celebrate Gucci Off The Grid, the House’s sustainable collection.
A retired fisherman who spends his time gardening on the hills in the Southwest of England, Gerald Stratford describes himself as a “gardener heavy into big veg” in his Instagram bio. Alongside a cast of models, Stratford is captured in a vegetable patch among his famed produce and new pieces from the Gucci Off The Grid collection. 
Made mostly of ECONYL®, a type of Nylon regenerated from abandoned fishing nets, old carpets, and offcuts, backpacks, hats and sneakers are showcased in the line’s new vivid blue offering.
