Spotlighting Vault’s unique vision of vintage.

Once again, Rachel Koffsky, international head of handbags and accessories at Christie's, enters the Gucci Archive to explore how Vault plays with the House’s heritage, this time through its iconic handbags. In Palazzo Settimanni, she presents a special Made-to-Treasure Collector’s Bamboo bag from Vault, which sees a contemporary touch blossom across a 1960s vintage find with the addition of handcrafted flowers.  She then uncovers exemplary bags within the Archive’s collection, including predecessors to today’s Jackie 1961 and the Horsebit 1955.
