The House’s fourth collaboration with HOSOO, Kyoto's renowned historic weaver and Nishijin brocade producer, has created limited edition handbags. The Gucci Diana will be available online and through Client Services, while the Gucci Bamboo 1947 is available exclusively in select stores.
The collaboration provides a rare glimpse into Japan's craftsmanship heritage, as HOSOO uses its signature 'petals' weaving technique to depict Gucci's Flora and GG motifs with genuine silver foils, resulting in a multi-layered and three-dimensional textile.
