Imagining girls walking through an alchemist’s garden with parasols, Alessandro Michele’s Fall Winter 2017 collection was loaded with peculiar and extravagant detail.

Coats and dresses with curved edges profiled in crystals and ruffled gowns strewn with floral prints were mixed with T-shirts scrawled with artist Coco Capitán’s writing. Accessories were lush with the creative director’s favorite things: pumps topped with pearls or dragon embroideries and bags laden with hardware of insects and beasts.
