Celebrating the Year of the Dog, Gucci presents a special collection of ready-to-wear and accessories featuring the faces of Orso and Bosco, the Boston terriers of Gucci’s Creative Director
Alessandro Michele.
The whimsical dog motifs were inspired by a pillow artist Helen Downie, AKA Unskilled Worker, gave as a gift to Alessandro Michele, which featured an illustration of his pets.
Unskilled Worker’s dogs adorn diverse pieces also finished with color and decoration, including women’s sweaters, and denim shorts, as well as men’s hoodies and bomber jackets. The hounds are also enlarged on backpacks and totes in GG motif, and on leather clutch bags and wallets. Scarves, trainers and jewellery are also embellished with pictures of these two dogs, while watches display their faces on their dials.
