Unveiled within the Gucci Archive in Florence’s Palazzo Settimanni, the new collection celebrated Gucci’s heritage while embracing its contemporary vision.
Set against the beautiful backdrop of Gucci’s founding city of Florence, the Cruise 2026 collection was a true homage to craftsmanship. Expertly treated brocades, jacquards, silks, and velvets were featured alongside embellished and embroidered lace, creating a merging of techniques that highlighted artisanal skill and heritage. On a closer look, details radiated the House’s codes and logos, from the signature GG Monogram and the graphic single G across belt buckles and heels of shoes. Leather goods, at the heart of Gucci and Florence, showcased an evolution, mixing archival-inspired precision with soft constructions and contemporary ease, seen in a half Horsebit design, a new vanity style bag and the emblematic Gucci Giglio bag.
