A real and imaginary place, the translation of a vision that stretches through the first and second floors of the Gucci Garden Galleria in Piazza della Signoria, Florence, is filled with history, objects, anecdotes and geographies. A series of rooms unfolds from a story that begins in 1921 to today, ready to be reactivated: Détournement, Bagology, Cosmorama, Ouroboros, Cosmic Colors, Jardin d’Hiver and Il Maschile are the names of the new rooms curated by Maria Luisa Frisa. Gucci Garden Galleria is also a laboratory, always researching, where elements have built over time the Gucci mythology, and where things are continuously shaped and transformed, like the study of an alchemist. The House archive is transformed into living, incandescent material under the inclusive gaze of creative director Alessandro Michele who casts its pieces with unprecedented interpretations.
The Gucci Garden Galleria also includes Cinema da Camera, a small, red-velvet tented cinema auditorium.
