ABOUT CRUISE 2026

A return to where it all began. Much more than just a beautiful backdrop, the Renaissance city of Florence is the birthplace of Gucci. Evocative of this homecoming, the fashion show was held at the Gucci Archive in Palazzo Settimanni, located within the heart of the renowned Santo Spirito district.

Along Oltrarno's Via delle Caldaie in Florence, the Gucci Archive is housed in the historic Palazzo Settimanni. Since the 1400s, the Palazzo has established itself as a symbol of the Renaissance city's culture and history. Over the centuries, the Palazzo was divided into leather workshops, becoming the ideal place for Guccio Gucci to set up production for his ever-expanding brand in 1953.

Palazzo Settimanni soon became the heart and soul of Gucci, a place where seasoned artisans honed their craft and young apprentices learned from the masters. Today, as the House's official archive, the Palazzo embodies Florence’s history while honoring Gucci's heritage story that began more than 100 years ago.
