Prima borsa Gucci realizzata in Demetra, innovativo materiale animal free, la nuova edizione della Horsebit 1955 esemplifica l'approccio lungimirante della Maison, in cui la maestria artigianale nell'arte conciaria supporta la transizione verso un futuro più etico della moda. 
Composto per il 75% da materie prime di origine vegetale, Demetra è frutto di due anni di ricerca e sviluppo da parte dei tecnici e degli artigiani di Gucci ed è prodotto dal 2021 negli stabilimenti della Maison in Italia.
