BRIGHT DIAMANTE COLLECTION INSPIRES GUCCI’S LATEST SHORT FILM
DIGITAL CAMPAIGN MAKES ITS DEBUT TODAY
MILAN June 10, 2014 – Today Gucci is pleased to unveil on its social media platforms the House’s latest short film, inspired by the Prefall 2014 Bright Diamante
leather goods collection. Shot in London, the new film revolves around the collection’s bold, bright colors and tells of a surprising outcome when all the brights unexpectedly collide together.
The director’s cut of Bright Diamante will live on Gucci’s YouTube Channel and a ten-second version will also appear in select expandable banner ad units as part of a worldwide digital media roll-out starting today.
Featuring the song “Double Edge” (GeRM Remix) by Emika, the short
film recalls the rubik’s cube with its puzzling game of color
Bumblebee yellow, fuchsia, deep cobalt, red, turquoise,
and white all announce the upcoming season where Gucci’s leather goods
feature a wide variety of novel brights – from handbags including the
bucket-style shoulder bag, the clutch, the top-handle tote, bowling
bags, and the Boston bag, to luggage such as duffle bags, trunks, and
trolleys. The choice of color makes these accessories open to the
interpretation of the owner.
