The Gucci flagship boutique in the Paragon Centre, Singapore has been utterly transformed as part of Frida Giannini’s vision for the store of the future.
“The beautiful Singapore store is awash with natural light from the large windows, enriched by the golden hues and lavish materials in its interior,” explains Giannini. Rosewood and marble blend with polished gold and smoked bronze glass to create an aura of luxury in keeping with the traditions of Gucci and the unique ambiance of Singapore, the Garden City.
Frida Giannini has been honored by Singapore’s National Garden with the naming of a fabulous new orchid after her, the Paravanda Frida, a long stemmed flower with pure white petals, contrasting with bronze red lips.

In response, she has created a new limited edition of the world famous Gucci Boston Bag named after the flower, available only in Singapore. Part of the proceeds from sales of these original bags will be donated to the charity, MILK, which simply stands for ‘Mainly I love Kids.’
