Gucci is pleased to introduce the new “Gucci Viaggio” line, a relaxed yet ultra-chic capsule collection designed by Creative Director Frida Giannini to meet the modern globetrotters’ desire for highly versatile items. The jet-set essence that originally brought fame to the House now meets innovation for traveling in the utmost comfort and style.
Balancing the contemporary values of dynamic elegance and cosmopolitan nonchalance, the line includes an extensive selection of ready-to-wear garments and accessories, for both women and men, distinguished by the new “Gucci Viaggio” label and a focused color palette of black, ink and grey, which even appears on the signature web stripe in a black-grey-black combination.
Moving from the business and urban mood to the free spirit of distant getaways, the collection’s new take on lightness and comfort defines clean silhouettes and singular details, unveiling the perfect balance between formal sophistication and a casual attitude.
The new travel wardrobe also features a distinctive array of accessory staples, which reflect the philosophy of understated luxury and utmost craftsmanship for which Gucci is known. Shoes are soft and flexible, including the driver and high top sneaker for both women and men, as well as the ballerina for her, all declined in black for an easier combination.
Soft luggage pieces - spanning from the suite bag, duffle, tote and backpack to the shirt case, shoe case and travel pouches - are offered in GG nylon, while the tote and backpack have also been designed in calfskin. All these items can be effortlessly fit into a bag or work as an extra “viaggio” piece.
Designed as a year-round capsule collection, the new “Gucci Viaggio” line not only embodies the lifestyle of today’s smart and active travelers but also symbolizes Gucci’s duality of tradition and innovation.
