Gucci Timepieces & Jewelry Celebrates The GRAMMY® “Countdown To Music's Biggest Night®” Through Dedicated Downloadable Widget Application

"The GRAMMY® Nominations Concert Live! - Countdown To Music's Biggest Night®" will take place tomorrow in Los Angeles setting the stage for the 53rd Annual GRAMMY Awards. As a partner of The Recording Academy®, Gucci Timepieces & Jewelry has launched a special edition timepiece and jewelry collection and will now introduce the "official timekeeper" to Music's Biggest Night: an innovative desktop widget inspired by the design of the I-Gucci GRAMMY timepiece. Compatible with Mac or PC, the application is a real-time countdown to the awards ceremony at 8 p.m. ET/PT on February 13th, marking the time in days, hours, minutes and seconds.

Both stylish and practical, the widget comes with a range of features such as a local and L.A. time and date display and a direct link to the latest GRAMMY and Gucci Twitter updates. The I-Gucci GRAMMY widget can be downloaded exclusively from Guccitimeless.com, Gucci.com and Gucci's Facebook page. After the event, the countdown panel will disappear and the watch will remain, to be used as a stylish desktop timekeeping device.
The widget application takes inspiration from the I-Gucci, Gucci's first-ever digital timepiece and an iconic choice for those seeking a contemporary, cosmopolitan watch. It offers the ultimate in versatility: with a flick, the broad watch face changes from a two-time zone dial in large digits to a streamlined version that features two discreet digital hands revealing local time. Its large, double-layout digital display features a special tag celebrating the GRAMMY partnership. The yellow PVD stainless-steel case is complemented by a wide, black or white rubber strap that sports both the GRAMMY and Gucci logos. Again emphasizing the partnership, the case back features the GRAMMY Awards special edition label. Precious versions of the I-Gucci are also available with sparkling diamonds outlining the watch face for an added touch of glamour.
