“Gucci Collector” is the very first Gucci-certified online destination
for appraising vintage Gucci products in partnership with world-renowned
auction house, Christie’s. Since its launch earlier this year, this
unprecedented service for Gucci collectors and enthusiasts alike, has
received a remarkable response, unearthing rare finds and iconic models
the world over.
A dedicated section on www.christies.com enables owners to
upload photos of vintage items and submit an appraisal request. A team
of Christie's experts along with Gucci’s own in-house archivists assess
items, and Christie’s provides an auction estimate for qualifying
submissions. Select owners also have the opportunity to sell their items
to Gucci, or in a future Christie's auction, if desired.
