<itunes:summary>During the WRTW S/S 2008 fashion show, Gucci unveiled the fruit of the collaboration between Creative Director, Frida Giannini and award winning film director David Lynch — a unique edit of the television advertising campaign celebrating Giannini&apos;s first women&apos;s fragrance, Gucci by GUCCI and behind the scenes of its production.

Director David Lynch counts Academy-Award nominations for "Mulholland Drive" and "Blue Velvet", as well as The Leone d'Oro alla Carriera at the 2006 Venice Film Festival amongst his accolades. "I wanted our first television advertising campaign to have that whimsical touch from a visionary film director such as David Lynch. I wanted him to capture the total essence of Gucci and I'm thrilled with the result", says Frida Giannini of the collaboration with David Lynch.

The campaign which was art directed by the agency REM, was filmed on-location in Paris, at the Musée National des Arts D'Afrique et D'Oceanie, featuring models Raquel Zimmerman, Natasha Poly and Freja Beha Erichsen. Set to the iconic "Heart of Glass" by Blondie, it marks a first-ever television advertising campaign for Gucci.</itunes:summary>

	<title>Chiodo - the new Gucci Timepieces Collection</title>
	<itunes:author>Gucci</itunes:author>
	<itunes:subtitle>Presenting Chiodo on www.gucci.com/chiodo</itunes:subtitle>
<itunes:summary>Gucci is pleased to introduce Chiodo, a new collection of striking timepieces. The nail motif of the Chiodo, based on the iconic square head nail employed by Gucci since the 1960s, is featured as a decorative detail on two elegant watch shapes : the sophisticated square model, distinguished by bold angles and contours, and the fashionable circular model.

The Chiodo symbol, like the horsebit, has its origins in the equestrian world. Modeled after the pyramidal nails used to hold the shoe on a horse&apos;s hoof, the design represents Gucci&apos;s intrinsic commitment to innovation with respect to its long-standing heritage.

	<title>Twirl Collection</title>
	<itunes:author>Gucci</itunes:author>
	<itunes:subtitle>Discover the Twirl Collection</itunes:subtitle>
<itunes:summary>A true statement in versatility and practical luxury, the Icon Twirl collection underscores the modern femininity of the Gucci woman.

The specific character of Icon Twirl stems from the signature GG motif, a diamond-shaped pattern of interlocked G. This interpretation of the acclaimed Gucci monogram, engraved on precious materials on bands or bangles, constitutes a direct homage to founder Guccio Gucci and the innovative and advanced spirit he conferred to his company.

Icon Twirl includes white or yellow gold rings, earrings and a necklace. Most characteristic are the white gold and diamond bands, featuring a central, revolving disc, and the yellow gold ring that spins round a horizontal axis.

The Twirl timepieces collection shares the rotation movement: the watch case turns on itself, revealing a second face bearing the same Gucci motif. Conceived as a glamorous trick of sorts, the Twirl watch features a large bracelet engraved with the GG diamond motif.

Icon Twirl is a fine jewelry line that can be assertive and bold, or discreet and precious. Indeed, its strength lies in its easy elegance and flexibility.

<itunes:summary>Gucci&apos;s thermopressed luggage line is characterized by its functionality and its elegance, and responds to the demands of modern ways of traveling. True to the core values of Gucci&apos;s know - how, the fabrication of this range brings together its praised craftsmanship resources and expertise. Polyurethane, the principal component of the shell, has permitted to obtain a thin and light, yet shock - resistant structure, and consequently a significant gain of internal capacity. This new range of luggage and travel accessories includes trolleys, briefcases, computer pouches, a backpack and a garment bag.

This extremely elegant line features Gucci&apos;s stylish details: iconic beige/ebony GG Plus or black Plus fabric, fine leather details and finishing. A round, rubber plaque representing the iconic GG logo is applied onto the top surface of each item, while the signature logo is subtly utilized on the trolley wheels.

Standing for Guccio Gucci&apos;s initials, this plaque acts as a reminder of the link between the outstanding legacy of the Florentine House and the modern spirit of Gucci collections. As with all exceptionally crafted Gucci accessories, each piece is entirely made in Italy, a renowned guarantee of both timeless style and high quality.

<itunes:subtitle>View the Crystal GG Collection video</itunes:subtitle>
<itunes:summary>Gucci&apos;s Crystal GG collection includes a fresh, modern selection of its most coveted bags and accessories with an original and unique surface treatment.

First introduced in the late 1960&apos;s as an homage to founder Guccio Gucci, the brown diamond-shaped and interlocking GG motif on an ecru background is now coated with a thin layer of polyurethane. The resin gives the canvas a sleek look, glistening like patent leather. The visual effect is shiny, striking and utterly modern. To the touch, Crystal GG is remarkably malleable and soft. Rich details, such as leather piping and tassels, embroidery and large gold heart-shaped crests, ornate and complement the distinctive Crystal GG.

For the Fall Winter 2008-2009, the Crystal GG Collection includes new totes, hobos and clutches with ever functional, elegant shapes and characteristics in line with the Gucci legacy. Among these bags, Babouska, a line unveiled on the Fall runway, is perfectly linked to the mood of that season. Crystal GG is also featured on key Gucci bags, including Joy and Indy.

The latest Crystal GG line is completed by a range of women&apos;s accessories: shoes, belts, and small leathergoods. Modern and innovative, Crystal GG retains Gucci&apos;s rigorous quality features and embodies the celebrated craftsmanship of Made in Italy.

<itunes:summary>Created by Frida Giannini to show the many faces of a man in love, the Gucci by GUCCI Pour Homme television advertising campaign, directed by Jan Wentz, stars the actor James Franco. Chosen by Giannini to personify the Gucci man for his cool, modern and effortless air, in the film Franco shows a man&apos;s soulful revelation of emotion.

Franco moves through a poignant black and white depiction of a modern man&apos;s world, on location at Eltham Palace in London, lamenting the mystery, excitement and thought of love. He speaks and interacts with her, in what later culminates to become the lyrics to the song, "Slave to Love" by Bryan Ferry, reinterpreted and modernized by singer-songwriter Roisin Murphy.

Franco&apos;s character embodies the innate sensuality of the Gucci man, with masculine appeal that is at once both epic and modern. He is slightly vulnerable yet there is something rebellious about him, and is powerfully seductive as he realizes his love.

The Gucci by GUCCI Pour Homme advertising campaign also includes print, featuring James Franco, shot by Ines van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. Frida Giannini worked with agency REM to create the Gucci by Gucci Pour Homme advertising campaign.

<itunes:summary>For Spring Summer 2010 Creative Director Frida Giannini presents a double-faced collection that exposes both Gucci&apos;s noble traditions as well as the House&apos;s firm view towards the future. Using iconic elements of Gucci&apos;s storied past as well as the most classic of wardrobe essentials—the Little Black Dress—as a launching point, Giannini offers her own dynamic and coherent vision of modern femininity. Shot with the adrenaline of extreme sports and their technical details, these classics have been reborn and contemporized, emphasizing the dual forces of tradition and innovation. The collection is unapologetically confident and resolutely sexy in its mood, yet grounded in the complex workmanship techniques and impeccable craftsmanship for which the House of Gucci is known.</itunes:summary>
